We're the Only Ones Psychological Enough

Officers have to go through a stringent hiring process that includes a psychological examination. The same is true for federal agents. [More]
Yeah, and we see every day how that works out.

This is the kind of editorial horse droppings that would be easy to come up with link after link refuting it, but with the outrageousness of "Officer Anonymous's"  presumptions and the obnoxious way he presents them, particularly with his purposely offensive "Red Dawn" segue, there's really only one fitting response for this oath-breaking, cowardly parasite, and it does not involve debating something that is off the table and improper for the help to question anyway.

I think that Kent McManigal answered this question rather well:

And this clown took an oath to defend the Constitution?
What arrogance on display! If any Only One epitomized the "Only Ones" meme and how we Mundanes are viewed, it would be this asshole.
Cops. Are. Not. Your. Friends.

Well, comments there are closed - after only 4 days. Guess he got blasted by enough people, including fellow officers, to tuck his tail, otherwise comments would probably be in the thousands by now.

Here are just two recent examples of how their "psych" testing does no good.

Guess if you're a double amputee in a wheelchair wielding a pen, or a woman with nothing in your hands at all, you're "a threat".

Ooooh, scary people made me pull out my service weapon and blow them away!

A friend who wanted to work for the border patrol started the police academy training, but quit after a couple of months because it became evident the psych eval was selecting FOR people who would follow orders without question. That and the training hammered home the idea that they were now above the civilians and not subject to the same rules.

So now these armed automatons, suffering from testosterone poisoning, can do whatever they want to us if they feel "threatened" or we make a "furtive move". They murder someone and get 3 days paid desk assignment as "punishment" for their erroneous snap judgement.

No wonder people talk about how these guys will have targets on their backs come SHTF time.
