Holder, Malloy announce ‘Project Longevity’ aimed at Conn. gang violence

As for today’s presser in New Haven, don’t expect to see any real and lasting impact on crimes of violence, as true root causes are rarely eliminated by throwing good money after bad. If it were really about "gang violence" they'd be bringing in the INS to round up all the wetbacks and send them back where they came from, of course.
