Police are allowed in some circumstances to install hidden surveillance cameras on private property without obtaining a search warrant, a federal judge said yesterday. [More]Why?
And I note this wretch was nominated by the "Vote Freedom First President."

The judge says that law enforcement officers may commit a crime (Criminal Trespass) in order to obtain evidence of criminal activity. Okay, so what's wrong with that picture???
Just FYI - Texas Penal Code - Criminal Trespass
An offense under this section is:
(3) a Class A misdemeanor if:
(B) the person carries a deadly weapon during the commission of the offense.
William C. Griesbach says the police may just disregard laws that would proscribe their conduct.

Unfortunately, as long as the targets of such shenanigans are producers/makers/growers of 'illegal' products, the majority of people will not care one itty bit.
The Rev. Niemöller's poem not withstanding.
I note in his official DoJ bio, Santelle is a 1983 graduate of the University of Chicago Law School. And we are surprised at his opinions why?
