Fallacy: Thinking most people care about prevarication, or see shame and moral failing attached to it.
I believe the majority of the population think its perfectly fine to lie in pursuit of their goals, and see it as nothing but a tool.
Sure, we can point out all the lies we wish, and generate all the internal outrage we wish... but THEY DON'T CARE. In fact, I believe they take great amusement at our 'outdated notions of morality'.
Another blogger wrote to him about the article. After a bunch of useless drivel he said he was "misunderstood".
Kind of like Kaul's "they don't understand satire" bullshit.
This turd isn't my Representative, but I will be talking to as many people in his district as I can. I see this being his last term.
My thoughts exactly, David. Iowans, why do you put up with this?
The silver lining ing this great awakening of the gun grabbers is that they are now on the record.. no phone "im for the 2nd amendment" in the next election.. lots of quotes, sound bites and film clips to be used with impunity by their opposition...
Why wait for the next election to turn him out of office?
Impeach him now for advocating violation of citizens' civil rights. Note that he wears a nice suit instead of a hooded robe, so do not be confused by the clothing.
