What's in a Name?

Should the park’s name be changed? [More]
Why should the question of a name change even be raised? Who but someone with an agenda would even ask a question like that?

A pistol is okay, but not a rifle? My, how the political left has changed. They used to say that they only wanted to ban handguns, until the Supreme Court told them that they couldn't. Now they want to ban rifles, which they used to say that they would never ban.
Rifles are only rarely used in crimes, but they want to ban them anyway. Obama's hometown of Chicago had over 500 murders last year, mostly committed with handguns. They don't have a rifle problem in Chicago, but the old "first step" of banning handguns is off the table, so they're going straight for the weapons that most safeguard our freedom.
The idea of banning the modern equivalent of the minuteman's long rifle should unthinkable to Americans, but not to America-hating leftists who despise things like capitalism, freedom, "white privilege", "homophobia" as they call it, and just plain patriotism. They don't like our cars, our food, our stores and restaurants, our private enterprise or much of anything else about America. The problem is, that if they take our guns, they would have little problem taking whatever else they want to take from us. We cannot allow them to do that. We have to tell them that they can't have our guns, and we have to do that repeatedly and forcefully. We have too much to lose if we don't. We've already had our Second Amendment rights raped here in New York by our rapist governor. Don't let them do it to America! Please!
