This is from the most liberal city in the state. I would expect exactly this response from them.

David: watch out for this meme. It appears to be showing up on several pro-gun Facebook pages, and news websites, in different forms, but all similar to this: " the State of Colorado CAN ban any and all guns. The 2nd amendment to the (u)nited (s)tates constitution DOES NOT guarantee citizens of their respective States a right to bear arms it only stops the national government from disarming the States."

They want to discredit the idea (from US vs. McDonald) that the 14th Amendment does indeed incorporate the 2nd Amendment to the states and cities. The state and city level, I believe, is the new push.

The comment section would seem to indicate that quite a few of the people in Kansas are not ready for individual liberty.
