Why do these New York transplants always look like dweebs
The rational person IS going to do whatever they can to avoid the confrontation. In a rational world, such "laws" as this would be superfluous.
The real problem in today's world is that it would be difficult to prove, after the fact, that one did not have any safe option to retreat, especially with cops and prosecutors dead set on a conviction.
How does one prove a negative?
So much for the usefulness of the Free State Project folks.
