Clearly, this is meant to make guns useless in a civil war against a tyrant. Never mind the hackers; it's the government that I don't want turning off my gun.

If the Secret Service and police adopt this technology for all their weapons, I might be interested! Naw, who am I kidding.

Of course the SS and police would be exempt.
