We're the Only Ones Orderly Enough

I guess in Texas, all it takes is one bawling calf to spook the herd. [More]

Pity it's not WA state. Dave Workman has written many times about the court decision finding that discomfort around firearms does not equate to "reasonable alarm." I don't suppose there's a chance they could use that precedent in TX, is there?

And if so, can/will the hoplophobes who called it in (and the Moms Demand Action group, who are encouraging this "tactic") be charged with filing false police reports?

One of those Demanding Mommies pissed down both legs at the thought that someone was carrying legally. They have people actually buying burn phones so they can call the police anonymously when they see someone carrying and falsely claiming that they are "waving" their gun around. Even though the carrier is doing no such thing. They need to be arrested and prosecuted for making false reports of a crime that didn't happen. There is no right to "Feel comfortable". They need to suck it up and get over it.

"... San Antonio police Chief William McManus explained that the gun holder can still be charged with disorderly conduct if anyone, at any point, feels threatened."

So, if I call San Antonio Police Department and complain that unarmed, bearded men sipping iced coffee at Starbuck's make me feel threatened, the men will be arrested for disorderly conduct? It would appear that SAPD would do better by giving out the phone number of a psychological crisis hotline to the caller instead.
