And just like that time before, Bloomberg's armed "Only Ones" were useless, and it was an unarmed citizen who ultimately risked it all to hold the madman down...

Hypothetically, I'd love to see someone attack Furious Mike and have his NYPD Only Ones say "you know Mike, the courts say we don't really have to protect you specifically, but only the public in general, so good luck!"
The family is "thankful" for the police? I would be more thankful for the unarmed non-police officer that pinned this guy and stopped him from further stabbing others.
