Microgunbanning

Tom Gresham talks to Ruger's CEO, who predicts the end of pistol sales in CA. [More]

As I've observed before, the only ones that hurts are those on our side. Until each individual company  in the industry makes a Ronnie Barrett commitment, all the pain will be unilateral.  It probably couldn't be done as anything other than individual decisions, without being coordinated with other companies, to avoid antitrust collusive practices complications.  That said, any hold-outs still selling to state agencies (or individual LEOs who are exempt from list restrictions) ought to be told the facts of life in no uncertain terms by a united gun owner front.

And while we're at it, let's stop providing training to those who will use it against us.

UPDATE:  See and share the link to Kurt's latest, "If gun makers opposed to 'microstamping' help murderers, so do CA police chiefs."  See, the nice thing abut being a commie subversive is you don't actually need to substantiate anything you say or worry about reality refuting it -- just get the meme out there and your useful idiots will do the rest.

I believe that the NRA is mistaken in providing training that is separate and distinct for LEO personnel. Their original mission was in the promotion of marksmanship for all. The NRA should provide the same courses to all regardless of LEO affiliation. If governments infringe on the rights of non-LEO personnel, then the NRA should not provide any training exclusively to LEO personnel and switch resources exclusively to the non-LEO sector. Will that policy alienate LEO personnel? Let the LEO personnel contact their government to vigorously promote equal protection under the law for all.
