The Wrong Question

Gabby's counting on our innate decency and sympathy allowing her to continue to play ideological stoop tag. [More]

As Thomas Pynchon noted in "Gravity's Rainbow":
If they can get you asking the wrong questions, they don't have to worry about answers.
I say she's abused any deferential considerations in matters of public policy and needs to be treated like we would any other Bolshevik hive insect.

Someone needs to point out - politely - that none of her proposed reforms would have prevented her own personal tragedy, and that because she does not live - or more importantly, vote - in Washington state, her opinion doesn't make a damned bit of difference.

If Arizona won't reform its gun laws to suit her, why should she demand that Washington do so? Not that Arizona should, of course; it's just that she and her contemptible "anti-gun male" husband seem to have awfully big opinions of themselves.

Why "politely" at this point?

If she gets her way, the uniforms that show up at your house won't be polite.
