In the meantime, post office customers must park off post office property if they have a weapon in their vehicle. Massachusetts prohibits leaving firearms in vehicles, so a trip to the post office means that the firearm stays home and is not available for the driver's defense. If you have a Second Amendment right to have a handgun for your defense, why must you relinquish that right to buy stamps or send a package?
