Rulers don't voluntarily give up power over others. There has to be an "or else" attached to if they don't, followed by a cost/benefit tradeoff analysis.

That's the way it's always been.

It's moot anyway. Holder's position is that state attorneys general can pick and choose which laws they will enforce. So Montana prosecutors can decline to prosecute "gun crimes."

Oh wait - Holder didn't mean THAT, did he?

I once wondered who had the compromising photos on the Supremes, and Senate and House Republicans.

Since the Snowden disclosure, I've learned not to expect anything good from any incumbent. NSA has copies of all their dirty laundry.
