No, I'm way past the point of wanting them to make it home at the end of their shifts. In fact, I think I'd much prefer the alternative.
No someone in the PD messed up either the dispatch system or the excitement power junkies getting or original information. $th amendment was needed pre revolution and should not be so weaked as it present is. Fluid police work having followed persons to an address may be valid but all other reasons other than risk to another innocent is tyranny. Too many bad intelligence gathering frightened cops scenarios popping up these days.
