How very "progressive." [More]
I could say more if I had the time, but I don't. Suffice it to ask "Gee, guys, having second thoughts about signing that letter?"
That and asking the protestors what value they have put into themselves via unique, specialized or rare skills, training and accomplishments to make associating with them at higher wages worth it? What do they do that anyone else couldn't be trained to do in a matter of days?
Workers of the world unite!
Any wonder why the SEIU and NAACP are in on the action?
And anybody think $10.10 is anything more than a camel's nose under the tent, and a ploy to consolidate dependency and power?
Oak Brook? Forget it Jake, it's Chi-Town. And we know what that means.

"The protesters -- brought to the scene by 32 buses -- were joined by Service Employees International Union President Mary Kay Henry and William Barber, an official from the NAACP, the nation’s oldest civil rights organization."
Orchestrated Media Event... bet the "protestors" are being compensated.
Unfortunately, all too many of these people are not bright enough to realize that they can't "earn" more than they produce and that they don't "deserve" anything more no matter who it is stolen from. I suspect they will be really upset to find that many of their "jobs" can and will be automated, and/or the companies they work for simply will fold. Fewer entry level jobs then, and more unemployed.
And then I wonder what most of them will eat, since I suspect they get a great deal of their "food" from these "fast food" franchises.
At that point they'll probably be ready to riot and burn the places down. Brilliant.
