Connecticut Gun Commission Exhibits Mental Issues of Its Own

The latest bizarre proposals, presented under the auspices of the Orwellian-named Subcommittee on Firearms/Ammunition, Best Practices/Protocols and Violence Reduction, are numerous, bureaucratic, unwieldy, terminally politically correct, and frankly, pretty stupid. As far as concerns for gun owners, they boil down to two big showstoppers: They want to "[r]equire that any shell casing for ammunition sold or possessed in Ct. have a serial number laser etched on same for tracing purposes," and "[t]hat a mental health suitability screening process be developed for anyone seeking a license to sell, purchase or carry any type of firearm in Ct." [More]
My latest JPFO Alert notes as far as Connecticut anti-gun nuts go, it's a madhouse. A MADHOUSE!
