No "man in the room?" How about no rational human being? I know plenty of women who would have been ready, willing and able to respond to a madman shooting children, both appropriately and immediately.

It's amazing how many "professional educators" and administrators today seem determined to prove themselves less mature than schoolchildren.
No, there was no man in the room. If the story had indicated an adult female was in the room, I'd have made a different comment.
