We're the Only Ones Executing Enough

And naturally, "the shooting was justified." [More]

This one seems justifiable to me. According to a talk-radio commentator I was listening to, Saenz, the prisoner, was a body builder, and has a record of violent assaults. He tried to escape, and attacked the two officers escorting him, including kicking one officer in the thigh. (Probably aiming for knee or crotch.) My understanding is that he was trying for an officer's gun. The officers legitimately shot in self defense.

This was not an execution of a peaceable citizen caught up by over reacting police.

I want the police to arrest and jail people like Saenz, and if offenders resist and attack their jailers, I want the jailers to defend themselves, even with deadly force.

Saenz seems exactly the kind of guy the police are there to defend us against.

Call a new grand jury and show it the video.
That 'he bumped me defense' is hogwash; that cop was going to shoot something once he pulled it out, his finger was on the trigger.
No chance we'd get to see his job jacket, is there?
