If he tries to "broaden his base" by turning to the Dark Side on guns and amnesty -- two topics I don't see in this WaPo piece -- his journey will be complete.  Just keep in mind the people asking us to consider these matters have an agenda of their own, and it's not to do a fair profile on the guy and his views.
