I'd like to hear more about the alleged victims. Sounds fishy to me: The woman giving the blowjob mysteriously disappears, leaving behind another woman and a guy who the alleged perp felt a need to shoot? I wouldn't be too surprised if tuxboy was cruising for a private party, and the hooker and her pimp tried to roll him, figuring a guy in a tux must have plenty of spare cash.
But I have a suspicious nature.
Second degree??? Shot at them??? What would it take for first degree charges, that he killed them both and buried their bodies in shallow graves? And they haven't said yet if alcohol was involved ;o)
J, sometimes "first degree," "second degree," Class A," Class B" felony doesn't always mean what laymen might expect (sometimes premeditation vs. heat of the moment determines it rather than extent of force). But still, that's one reason I get that niggling feeling that it might have been self defense that went a bit too far (or awry).
