I was going to comment on firing three shots and only landing one to the hip, but in fairness, I've never shot an unarmed man at point-blank range before.

The SC department of Public Safety fired the officer after the investigation was complete, now he's been properly charged for the crime he committed.
One hopes that he receives the maximum sentence possible.
