Has anyone in WA considered a DDoS attack on the transfer system? Consider that if only three people get together, and only pass a single firearm between them, this could generate six separate transfers (A-B, A-C, B-C, B-A, C-A, C-B). Add another few firearms and the number get big in a hurry. Add another few owners and they get bigger even faster.

Any formal/informal gun club or circle of friends could dump a blizzard of paperwork onto the system and, for the timid, it has the advantage of even being legal.
