Alex Vraciu and George Codrea can both claim the title of "A man Among Men". We are losing our WWII and Korea vets at 100 a day.
I would like to know the name of the carrier Mr. Vraciu was on that was torpedoed twice. My Dad was on the Lexington and he told me they took a couple of fish. They could have been shipmates.
I'll ask. My cousin is trying to find some old documents.
