That such an admission is obvious says much about how the Church has been compromised by "progressive" secularism. Curious: the same political faction that embraces "gun control" abhors Christianity and holds it in contempt. That seems not to have occurred to the leadership -- either that or an embedded faction has undue insider influence on the leadership.
