The Ayes Have It

Those kinds of returns on a Prozi Astroturf site? Funny, with all those "polls" claiming everybody wants more "gun control," it looks like things aren't quite working out with the grassroots the way MSNBC expected. Except I wouldn't use the term "allowed," which presupposes a legitimate authority to forbid it.

So naturally, the hive insects at CSGV prove the Opposite Day "progressive" truism by recommending SWATting gun owners, making them in reality the Coalition to Initiate Gun Violence:

I'm going to start referring to them as CIGV.

Ladd and his interns are already having to do some damage control as their lunatic supporters are stating they're going to claim 'active shooters' and 'black man w/ a gun' calls.

All that will result are more laws preventing police from harassing CC/OC and charges against the idiots constantly calling 911.

By the time I got to the poll, the pro-2A rrsponse had increased to 91%, with over 265,000 votes cast. I bet MSNBC never asks a question like this again - the results just don't fit their narrative. But someone should tell Obama - I love to see him frustrated that the American people just don't respect his "superior" wisdom.

Well my first gut reaction on seeing that pole was to remind everyone that this isn't a popularity contest. Should have know Mr. Codrea would be on the ball.

But you know this is exactly how the anti's are trying to 'win'. They're trying to treat this as a PR war instead of what it actually is. People that have completely rejected the idea of personal liberty in favor of stronger and stronger systems of control. They're this generation's version of the Brown Shirts from the 30s and 40s. Save instead of snappy uniforms they've got hipster glasses and a Facebook account.

Call me a little edgy on this one, but you know I've got to the point where I can't find anything else to call them but that.

No argument from me, NH, because I agree with your call.

Put another way, rights are in no way dependent on the majority. Heretics have always been burned at the stake for telling truths that threatened the dominant dogma. It's the "progressive" thing to do.
