Cornyn’s NRA-Backed Mental Health Bill Needs to Address Key Questions

It would help if we knew what protections equivalent to those provided in a jury trial that will provide. Specifically, will decisions rely on those who may have biases of their own, as can currently be the case, with ATF’s “clarifying the term ‘adjudicated as a mental defective’ to mean a determination by a court, board, commission or other lawful authority,” and with some states applying even broader “standards”? [More]
Since when does throwing a scrap of flesh to a pack of circling jackals encourage them to do anything but close in for more? To expect otherwise is just crazy.

IF everyone OBEYED the Bill of Rights...there would be NO confusion...as in freedom to own a weapon of your choice...
and to KEEP the same without a government ok......since politicians do NOT care to follow the Constitution....there is always confusion and a new 'law' to increase the needless suffering of the citizens of this once free land....Veterns need to 'stand up' for themselves and each other....an 'ride' Cornyn's the 'horse theif' out of Texas....imho
