Survey Says...

The Monday Poll: Stopping mass shootings [More]
I have a problem with the exception in question 2, as there are not only plenty of non-violent "felons" who are so classified because they have run afoul of citizen disarmament edicts, but it also goes contrary to the inescapable truism.  That in turn gets into the "Enforce existing gun laws" deception, one perpetrated this time by "leaders" on "our side," and which ought to be restated as "Enforce existing Intolerable Acts" just to put things in proper perspective.

What did Mr. Pynchon observe about such manipulation tactics?

That said, go ahead and give the editorial board reason to regret asking in the first place -- because right now, it looks like things are skewed in the wrong direction, and they will crow if that continues.

(2) Non violent felons shouldn't have their right to keep and bear arms restricted to begin with.
(3) Mental illness?? Which forms of and what degrees of mental illness should be sufficient to restrict one's rights, and who should decide?
