This is just another example of the government slowly eating away at our constitutional rights. The NYPD is not the NSA or the CIA and should be held to the same FOI parameters like any other agency. There is also the issue of safety. People are being bombarded with backscatter x-rays which are much more dangerous than the traditional xrays used in medical facilities, but they don't even know about it.
