Kicking the Can?

High Bridge Arms, founded in the mid-1950s by Olympic shooter Bob Chow, shuts down rather than give local police its customer list. [More]
Are they going to move to a location outside of the hive?  Because if they're just closing down, they're required to turn their records over to ATF.

When a FFL dealer closes his business, he is required to box up and mail (USPS) the 4473's to BATFE. No insurance is required, no registered mail, just regular post.
A friend of mine, who held a FFL, went out business and mailed in his forms. They were evidently lost by the USPS. To this day, they have never been recovered and the big ash pile behind his house has since, also disappeared.
