Not to Stump for Trump, BUT...

Mark DeMoss, who for many years served as chief of staff to Falwell Sr. and considered the televangelist a second father, said in an interview that it was a mistake for Falwell Jr. to endorse Trump. He said the Republican front-runner’s insult-laden campaign has been a flagrant rejection of the values Falwell Sr. espoused and Liberty promotes on its campus. [More]
And what kind of values does Mark DeMoss espouse?
DeMoss continued: “I have trouble defending a position that says there should be no restrictions on any guns or ammunition, and this slippery slope argument that if you allow the slightest bit of [gun] control, then that’s the start of taking away all our freedoms.
And yeah, I know all about Trump's troublesome past statements.  He disavows them now, which many understandably don't trust, so I recommend continuing to press him on unequivocal and substantive commitments that he won't be able to weasel-word his way out of if he reverses polarity.

Yeah, that and a dime will get us what?

“No new taxes,” “If you like your health plan, you can keep it, period,” “I did not have sex with that woman,” and “the personal mandate is not a tax” are all pretty unequivocal statements. Did the utterers pay any penalty? Did the victims receive any recompense?
