See? And if the police used so-called "smart guns", this wouldn't have happened! I blame the various police unions and ALL anti-gun advocacy groups for opposing police "smart gun" use, and Armatix and their iP1 pistol...

... because Armatix.

Hey, if the anti's can blame Remington for the Sandy Hook tragedy, because Remington!, turnabout is fair play.

Surely this public servant wasn't using his advantageous access to hardware to profit from sales to miscreants? Horrors, please strip me of my hardware so we'll all be safe!

"Law-enforcement officials said gun sales are registered with the federal government at the time a gun is initially purchased."

That is odd . I have been told over and over that there is no registry and it is unlawful to have one.

As to the story , the officer said he was unaware the gun was missing. How can that be? There must have been a burglary to get it , right? Or a car break in? Or perhaps he was negligent and left it unsecure and just "forgot" where he left it? Any way you look at it , it sounds fishy .
