The Chopstick Went Off

"He said in his anger he waved the chopstick in front of his father but before he knew it, it got stuck in him," the officer said. [More]
It got stuck in him.

Sounds like the same kind of excuse we hear when an "Only One" has a negligent dischar... I mean, an "accident."

And it was one of those assault chopsticks, with no legitimate gormandizing purposes.  Isn't it time we did something about chopstick violence? To think that Japan has a chopstick death rate that dwarfs the rest of the world...

It can't be argued that every chopstick owner is law-abiding -- until they're not. Still, for those inclined to demand commonsense chopstick safety laws, we can't forget the truism that anyone who can't be trusted with chopsticks can't be trusted without a hokannin.

When chopsticks are outlawed...
