He wasn’t gunning for The Donald — he was just drunk and didn’t want to be told where to walk. [More]Drunk, armed and belligerent -- now there's a New York "Only Ones" state of mind for you. No wonder they wouldn't trust you or me with one of those exclusive "permits." Funny, how there's not a word of concern about that from an Opposite Day "progressive" rag that would go ballistic on any proposal to make things more egalitarian.
You can also see the New York Daily News state of mind -- calling Trump a "blowhard billionaire" is a characterization for editorials, not straight "news." And it took three of their "Authorized Journalists" to crank this out?
Great job there, VICTORIA BEKIEMPIS, JOHN ANNESE and THOMAS TRACY! Now that Mort knows you can reliably be counted on to ignore any semblance of journalistic ethics, there may be more opportunities to whore away the last of any remaining "professional" principles -- at least for a while.

Armed and drunk, would mean revocation of my concealed carry permit in my state, at least for those of us not cops, or not ex-cops. Here, they gave him his gun back. New York really is a "special place."
Of course, if he hadn't been a former cop, or if he had tried the same thing with Mrs Clinton, he'd be locked up and looking at 3 years or more. Isn't it great to observe our multiple justice systems at work? Kinda reminds me of the old Soviet Union.
To paraphrase a famous author, "All gun owners are equal, but some are more equal than others!"
