This is a placeholder for now because I have not had ads on this blog for years. In case I ever start up again, this will be the policy in effect:
The FTC has some fool nonsense rules about ads on blogs or some such and presumes authority over the First Amendment to compel the unfunded mandate that we who earn ad revenues make some kind of disclosure so you don't think we're getting paid to say nice things about people or God knows what, meaning they must think you're stupid, too. I have had a few ads on this site in the past and may do so again if I think it's worth a try. Combined, I probably couldn't buy a box of good cigars each year, let alone a bottle of George T. Stagg, and that is somehow supposed to compromise my morality to force me to say nice things about products and services I don't mean simply in exchange for filthy lucre. If you believe that, leave now--you're not smart enough to be here. Bottom line, aside from welcoming a sponsor, I will do no posts related to their products or services, or reviews of what they offer.
About "The Only Ones"
The purpose of this feature has never been to bash cops. The only reason I do this is to amass a credible body of evidence to present when those who would deny our right to keep and bear arms use the argument that only government enforcers are professional and trained enough to do so safely and responsibly. And it's also used to illustrate when those of official status, rank or privilege, both in law enforcement and in some other government position, get special breaks not available to we commoners, particularly (but not exclusively) when they're involved in gun-related incidents.
Comment House Rules
Keep them on topic. No spam. No threats against anyone except me. Do not feed trolls--I'll take out the trash. Try to keep it clean. I'm the final arbiter. If you don't like the rules, start your own damn blog.
Link Policy
WarOnGuns reciprocates links with liberty-oriented sites promoting the right to keep and bear arms for all peaceable individuals. If you have linked to me and don't see your site below, it's probably just because I haven't noticed it yet. Shoot me an email via the "Contact Form" (see above in this sidebar) if you want to fix that.
As a general rule I remove links for blogs that have been inactive for over one year.
Usually, matters of creation vs. evolution don't appear on this blog. After all, what does creation have to do with guns? I've read this article a couple times, not because I didn't understand it the first time, but I really wanted to make sure I understood the author's viewpoint. The article is too long. I could have made his argument in one paragraph. "The massive statistical probability of anything as complex as living organisms coming from single cell organisms by mere chance rules out evolution." "The planet and everything on it had to have been the result of intelligent design, and all animals and insects placed in the form that they are now." "Some higher power is involved, but the author doesn't know what."
Did I leave anything out? The truth of the matter is that almost none of the creatures on this planet show an intelligent designer. For example, the laryngeal nerve in mammals runs from the brain, down around the aortic arch of the heart, and back up to the larynx. In a giraffe, this results in a fourteen foot long detour. Why? Evolution from an animal whose brain, heart and larynx were more in line that over time morphed into present day form however makes perfect sense. It would be easier to show on a diagram, but this is text only.
The author claims because he is so smart and well read that his questions can't be answered by evolution, but he has already won the debate because he got to frame the questions in the first place. Isn't there an adage about getting people to answer the wrong questions? Why do whales have hips and hip sockets like land walking mammals? Why do male kangaroos have their reproductive anatomy reversed (testes over penis)? Was there just a bunch of spare parts laying around in gods lab when he decided to make a duckbill platypus?
Darwin's theory was ingeniously simplistic and never said anything about "moslem culture" or killing children. Four billion years is a long time and there isn't a representative example of every stage of an evolving critter, but evolution is the only explanation that doesn't require an even more complex organism like a deity who must also forgive sins, bless marriages, listen to prayers, favor our side in wars, disapprove of our sex lives, and so on. Religion is the systematic brainwashing of subsequent generations through forced belief in what amounts to magic, ghostly apparitions, and the boogeyman. Some fortunate people become aware of the massive lie that is religion. Just like gun control, it is all about people control.
A. Nowhere did he endorse a creator. The author even implies that he has been called a creationist incorrectly, but every fiber of his argument indicates same.
B. Please don't beat around the bush. Which point do you think I am an example of?
C. Quit hiding behind the cloak of anonymity. If you care to discuss the article in something other than single sentence jabs, I'm game. I never post unless I sign because I'm not afraid to be proven wrong.

A. Where did he endorse a creator?
B. You seem to be an excellent example of at least one of his points.
For many, there was and is a recurring theme:
