Unquestionably

“[W]e’re going to be living in a different kind of country” if people can be arrested for asking questions at a library. [More]

When I heard the director’s claim that he was “shocked, shocked!” that the first amendment (cue angelic chorus) had been violated in his library, I immediately wondered if his library was posted as a “gun-free zone."

“If this kind of behavior is unacceptable to the police, then I guess we’re going to have to shut the library down.”
I believe this statement illustrates just how deeply brainwashed everyone is. The statement, if it were to be truly American, would be phrased exactly as is with the notable exception being police instead of library.
Probably preaching to the choir, but I figured I'd point it out anyway.
