Geez, David, I can understand your complete lack of celebration over the Trump victory, having been screwed by Pataki with his AWB when I voted for him over Cuomo, and he won. Still, it's much better than Hillary, isn't it?

That we may be screwed over in the future, is no excuse for not celebrating now. At worst, we might be said to have achieved the lesser of two evils. I can go with that for the present.
Oh, and while we're celebrating our victory over tyranny, we might take a look at this. I would hope that Trump invites Putin to the White House to watch this now 40-year old critique of the Soviet Union, seeing as Putin was head of the KGB. Something for which he might now express some regret, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, a personal hero of mine, and all.
