'Tolerance' Means You Also Have to Foot the Bill

The unemployed former Asda worker asked the NHS to freeze his eggs before he completed his full transition, in the hope he might have children years later. [More]
Not to be outdone:
A 57-year-old convicted killer serving a life sentence in California became the first U.S. inmate to receive state-funded sex-reassignment surgery...
Any culture that steals from the productive to do this cannot survive -- which is evidently the intent.

"Hayden Cross plans to have baby before returning to complete the transition process, which will remove his breasts and ovaries"

If I recall me elementary school grammar lessons correctly (and, admittedly it has bee a ling while since I attended elementary school), the pronoun "his" connotes masculine gender. Since the article is about an adult, the pronoun would appear to be referring to a man. Now it has been over 40 years since I took Biology 101 but I'm fairly certain that men rarely have ovaries, become pregnant or have breasts of a size to warrant being removed. Women, on the other hand DO possess said organs and sometimes bear children.

Therefor, the phrase "his breasts and ovaries" is significantly oxymoronic. Perhaps I am merely old fashioned, but I do not/cannot see how the pronoun "his" could apply to a person possessing breasts and ovaries.
