Repeal Existing Intolerable Acts

Senate votes to repeal Obama’s ban on gun sales for certain Social Security recipients [More]
Now it's on to President Trump for signature.

I'd talked about it here.

Here's a Congressional Research Service report published on Monday that was just forwarded to me  -- I posted it on Scribd but should have checked with the Federation of American Scientists first, because sure enough, here it is.

Anyway, now you have two places you can download it from, and aside from a handful of policy wonks, most gun owners won't even hear about this.

Notice in all this discussion of the deprivation of the right to keep and bear arms, there is no discussion of whether someone should still be voting, operating a motor vehicle, or composing and signing a note for a child's absence from school.

Better yet is to declare all these intolerable acts unconstitutional with immediate effect.

That's a start. Now how about repealing the EXACT same policy as it applies to veterans?

NBC Today show headline this morning:

Congress votes to give guns to the Mentally Ill.....

No mention of what it really undid....how asking for help with finances would automatically forfeit your rights with no recourse....

Better to rile everyone up with the inflammatory (but wrong) byline...

wait, I bet Matt Lauer has somebody who pays his bills..... wonder if he'll forfeit any of the his rights?

God bless Bluesgal for having the intestinal fortitude to watch the Today show. She's a better man than I am.
