Kind of, but only because you're so detached from reality you believe "according to The Trace" adds credibility and gravitas. [More]
Gloating doesn't make you right. And Idiot MILMy is more like it.
I continue to recommend presenting and then publicizing reactions to this.

My doctor does not need to ask me. I carry in his doctor's office, he knows I carry, and has made inquiries re: training and so forth.
I had a tangentially similar experience in my corporate life when I was Director of Policies and Procedures for what was then California's largest physician practice management coorporation -- the head of one of their major departments let me know he kept a .45 under his driver's seat (illegally, because good luck getting permits in SoCal unless you are politically connected), and I of course reiterated what a risk he was taking and how he needed to be careful who else he told that bit of potentially life-destroying incriminating information to.
From time to time I post alerts from Doctors for Responsible Gun Ownership, which led the charge getting the overturned FL law stopping unqualified nosiness passed as a boundary violation. I'm sure they'll have a lot more to say and will stay on top of their response.
