Well, don't ya think that every person in Law Imposement up and down the chain of command was saying, "Well hell, we screwed up! Here ya go, those guns rightfully belong to you."
I'm sure it was some anomaly which kept the man from getting his property back.
Longbow- Regarding taking a year to get his property back, I couldn't help but think it took a while because they had to get much of it back from those hard working employees at the CA DOJ who had divided up the spoils. Maybe that was your thought, too.
I've often wondered why CA DOJ requires TWO of everything to get on the approved list, and where they eventually end up. It wouldn't surprise me to find out that many of the higher ups in the agency have some really nice gun collections, and chuckle to their friends when explaining how they came by them.
