Al Gore has been on the Apple BOD for what, two decades now? Apple’s politics are typical Silicon-Valley hopeless.

Do you know why Apple’s device cables flake and break within a matter of months while third-party cables last like the Energizer Bunny? It’s because Apple let the eco-weenies bully them into a PVC-free design.

That's Tim Cook talk. He supports equality, except when he doesn't, and can't see any hypocrisy in that. It's fairly bland talk that doesn't upset anyone much, and the money keeps flowing in. Anyone who is looking to our corporate leaders for leadership is looking in the wrong place. Like reeds in the wind, they bend in the direction of the money. If the Democrats build a Gulag, Tim Cook will be happy to supply the IT.
