Clearly, Marco and Mitt have their heads up their asses. But I don’t see Ryan saying anything but “white supremacy is repulsive.” He’s not justifying any violence by either side. For example, I think “slavery is repulsive,” but I think the South had multiple valid reasons for secession, plus an unalienable right to do so, same as a wife has to leave an battering husband or an accountant has to leave a firm acquired by organized crime.
