What the hell; Circle K forbids employees of self-defense? Nope, I wouldn't patronize them. And I'd let them know why.
Their policy to give the robber anything and let them leave. That's not a policy to protect employees. No guarantee you won't be shot.
They might as well put a sign up that says "robbers welcome. Come steal our inventory. Oh - please don't shoot our clerk."
