Conservative lawmakers led by Thom Tillis are crafting a bill they call the conservative Dream Act that would provide a path to permanent residency to people brought here illegally as children, offering President Donald Trump an escape hatch on one of his most vexing immigration challenges. [More]Note Tillis wouldn't dare try to answer these questions, and no one with enough reach enough to influence him has incentive to ask him.
But there are plenty with influence on "our side" enabling the sellout, deliberately indifferent to a predictable outcome that will reverse the short term "good" votes.
If the establishment can define a cultural terraformer as"conservative," what must that make anyone who actually does want to conserve a Republic not irremediably dominated by "progressives"? And does anyone think they won't go after Tillis et al. for being "extremists" whenever that tack is the more useful?
Thank goodness none of this has anything to do with that "single issue."
