Unfortunately, Trump Message of Unity Following Las Vegas Massacre is Wishful Thinking

I wish he were right, but he’s not. The blame and hatred coming from the citizen disarmament camp is palpable. Celebrities are piling on. Politicians and gun-grab zealots are dancing in the blood, which they blame on NRA, on “conservatives,” on whites, and on anyone else the collectivists choose to smear as “Nazis” and “fascists.” [More]
The message to take away from this as the story unfolds and demands to "do something" get more belligerent: "No. We will not disarm."

Good article. Do you think it will be as bad as the Newtown offensive from the gun banners?

60 people dead is awful, but what our firearms freedom prevents is the hundreds of millions dead from disarmed people being slaughtered by their own government. It's a vastly lesser evil that we resist, unsuccessfully at times, versus a huge, enormous, overwhelming evil that we fortunately avoid completely. We will not disarm, so that we can be slaughtered by the millions at the hands of an out of control government that has all the guns. No, we're not going there.
