We're the Only Ones Tagged Enough

Virginia State Police superintendent says troopers will not cover name tags again [More]
Seeing as how the only reason that would be done is so they could commit crimes against citizens under color of authority and without accountability, can we take it that "appropriate action" means they've been fired? And that the pictured "Motor Carrier Unit" thug will no longer be a menace to society?

It seems to me a covered name tag should be grounds for immediate self defense action.

They say that "If you're not doing anything wrong there's nothing to hide". So is the corollary "If you're hiding your name you're obviously doing something wrong?"
