Another reason we shouldn’t trust Hastings is that, in spite of his oath to the Constitution, he has worked to undermine rather than support and defend it, specifically in regard to the Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights. [More]HE doesn't trust US. Let THAT sink in.

Hastings' impeachment was reversed by the SCOTUS. That's not constitutional, but congress didn't stop that action.
That's how he qualifies for congress, he's not a prohibited person.
He should have been, however.
