Known as S7133/A8976, the bill would establish a system where family members and law enforcement can petition a state court to issue an Extreme Risk Protection Orders or ERPO against an individual. [More]And how is the extreme risk of imposing prior restraints on fundamental rights without due process mitigated once we start recognizing "Only Ones" as "stakeholders"?
And more to the point-- if they know someone is an extreme risk, what the hell are they doing leaving him free to stalk among us, with his target(s) "protected" by no more than a piece of paper?
