In the Spirit of Bipartisanship

The measure, known as the NICS Denial Notification Act, would require the FBI to “alert state law enforcement within 24 hours when individuals ‘lie and try’ to purchase firearms, which can be a warning sign of criminal behavior." [More]
Co-sponsored by Fairfax darlings John Cornyn and Lindsey Graham!

Look!  We're "doing something!" Now you'll back off, huh?

As of now it looks like it's got a 14% shot.

Herschel has more.

Lazy bastards. The feds create a federal crime, then can’t be bothered to get off their asses and enforce it, so they throw the monkey on the states’ backs.

The political left is about as interested in going after criminals who illegally try to buy guns, as they are about going after would-be school shooters. In either case, it would interfere with them getting a higher body count, so they just look the other way, and get what they want. They're evil like that.

There is no two "party system"...we have one deep state elite party.
The only difference between the Democrats and Republicans is the difference between communists and socialist .
Democrats = communists = murder. Republicans = socialists = suicide.
Democrats rule and enslave by force (murder). Republicans rule and enslave by votes, (suicide).
They are the two heads of the deep state elite party.
Make no mistake about this, the deep state elite want us dead. Their political, economic and social agenda is closing to the end result of a total disarmed citizenry.

“The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles.”
